Patrizio Di Francesco from RINA will then provide an overview of the main trends shaping fleet transformation, including alternative fuels, electrification, energy efficiency, digitalisation, automation, climate change and port and logistics integration.
Simone Panfiglio from NAVTEC will discuss possible transition pathways towards 2030 and 2050, highlighting the main opportunities, risks and barriers associated with the two time horizons. Maria Vittoria Gargiulo from ISSNOVA will subsequently present the first insights emerging from the TRUSTEE stakeholder consultation.
