On December 11th 2025, Project TRUSTEE was presented at the national workshop “Projects of Relevant National Interest: New perspectives, advanced and sustainable materials and technologies for decarbonisation”, organised by the CNR in collaboration with the University of Messina.
Simone Panfiglio, Project Manager of Navtec – Distretto tecnologico trasporti navali, presented TRUSTEE within a panel dedicated to new collaboration opportunities for the decarbonisation.
The presentation focused on the European 2030–2050 decarbonisation trajectories for the naval sector, a core thematic pillar of TRUSTEE project. These long-term perspectives are essential to align technological innovation, industrial strategies, and policy frameworks with European climate objectives.
The workshop provided an excellent opportunity to enhance the visibility of TRUSTEE project, engage with key stakeholders, and explore potential synergies to support the transition towards a more sustainable and decarbonised waterborne sector.
