The third edition of the TRUSTEE Project Newsletter has been published, providing an overview of the activities carried out and the progress achieved so far in supporting the transition towards Zero-Emission Waterborne Transport (ZEWT).
Alongside the latest project updates, this edition presents two important upcoming opportunities to engage with the TRUSTEE community.
TRUSTEE Webinar #1
The first TRUSTEE webinar, “Pathways toward ZEWT: Trends, Readiness and Transition Mechanisms for 2030 and 2050,” will take place online on 16 September 2026, from 15:00 to 16:00 CEST.
The event will explore the main trends shaping the transformation of the European waterborne transport sector, possible transition pathways towards 2030 and 2050, and the first insights emerging from the TRUSTEE stakeholder consultation.

TRUSTEE Thematic Workshops
The newsletter also includes information on the upcoming TRUSTEE Thematic Workshops, taking place in Rome on 26 and 27 November 2026.
The workshops will bring together stakeholders from across the waterborne transport sector to exchange knowledge and contribute their perspectives on the environmental, technological and societal dimensions of the transition towards ZEWT.
